DID YOU KNOW: The end of the show, when Bea tells Vera who get help, Bea accidentally says Vera’s line. AS FILMED: Bea: (To Vera) “Don’t just stand there! Shut up! Go get some help!” (FADE OUT) AS SCRIPTED: Bea: (To Vera) “Don’t just stand there!” Vera: (As she starts to kneel down to check on Lizzie, replies to Bea) “Shut up, and go get some help!” (FADE OUT) That explains why Vera just stands there looking at Bea. Val knew she stepped on Fiona’s line. And, Fiona nearly burst out laughing about it.

I can't say that I'm sorry to see the back of Gillespie. He was such an obnoxious swine and deserved all he got in the end. The fact he opened that letter proves he felt guilty of unfair play because if he had nothing to hide then he would have just allowed the letter to go through, in the knowledge there would be no consequences against him. He seriously lacked self-control and allowed the position of power to go to his head. He wasn't content with upsetting the prisoners, but even turned the officers against him in the end. Erica has her faults, but even during an investigation there was no excuse for him being so unpleasant and applying so much relentless pressure in all directions. Doreen deserves credit for showing strength of character and standing up to that copper. A while back she would have succumbed to that kind of pressure and confessed all.

I've noticed how Jim Fletcher switched about addressing inmates by first names not always by surnames, almost as much as Erica, whereas Colleen Powell almost never addressed an inmate by first name. What was the idea of addressing inmates by surnames when talking one-to-one to them, isn't it disrespectful?
@pauliejay41617 жыл бұрын
Not really - it's one of those position of power things. I went to schools where teachers addressed the students by their surname, in the military seniors always use surnames to those that are subservient to them.

I don't get what you are laughing at.... an Ombudsman does exactly what they say he does. They are not common in the US, but perhaps they should be. They do get a lot of things done for people.

Why does Doreen only have one eyebrow?

LOL. she has two but there's a severe deep scratch above the one eyebrow. It does look like a penciled in eyebrow though esp bcuz her natural eyebrows are so light.
