Doreen's a cheeky cow. First she complains that Bea is only thinking of herself, when it was Doreen who was only thinking of herself when she escaped and screwed up the work programme for all the women AND nearly lost Lizzie her parole. THEN she puts Jude up to the idea of getting the staff files from the office and - when Jude asks her to keep a lookout - she refuses and says "oh I'm already in enough trouble". I wish Margo Gaffney was still around to give her a bloody good bashing.

@@ajs41 I'm not sure it was Lizzie but one of the other prisoners got a duplicate key made and that's how they accessed it ;but then all the locks were supposed to have been changed and given that fact you would think they would lock Davos office and the staff room so that nobody can just walk into their own private Sanctuary .But if the door was locked we wouldn't have all the plot twists. unfortunately it's one of the weaknesses of the show

The restrictions of prison officer as well as the restrictions of the physical prison itself, are a perfect structure for her personality in the role of officer. The intelligence discipline & character work seemlessy for her in that role.

It is self evident that Linda is not the sharpest knife in the draw, but even so, Jim must think she is entirely senseless when he said his lot are there to look after hers and the others best interests. Time and time again its proven that the officers are clearly nothing more than a bunch of ignorant amateurs, who for the most part couldn't care less about the inmates. Meg was the only consistent exception to the rule but then she moved on into a different capacity. Then you get the Vera's of this world who are too inhumane and unprofessional to manage any decency at all, and yet she gains promotion to position of governor! That is how clever the system really isn't!! If it was truly the case like Jim suggested then less people would be hurt/killed in there and the place would function properly and more smoothly, just as Barnhurst did prior to Vera's arrival. Good luck Lizzie!!

Slight continuity error at the very end there... There's no way you'd be able to see that angle of the detention centre from that main entrance. But it made sense that they put it in, because you otherwise don't have a very good shot of the prison building from there to look back at.
