Me, too. The first time I saw this series was in 1981 in Toronto, Canada. Global TV aired it under the name Caged Women. I only got up to the episode when Nolene's daughter fell off the roof during the protest about Jock Stewart. Global stopped showing it not long after that. Until I found it here, I didn't know it ran for so long.

I hate all the Joyce and Mervin bashing... they are the BEST thing in the entire show!. Joan wouldn't have a place to live if it hadn't been for them, Joyce is right, Joan is a bitch! The Pringles were BRILLIANT comedy actors, and it's a DAMN shame so many people don't appreciate them. I would rather have 10 Mervs and Joyes than ONE Kath Maxwell. You MUST have humor amid all the drama or it would be too much... The Pringles were perfect in that role.
