Interesting that just about this point they bring in Jane Clifton as Margo who will go on to become an iconic character and Anne Phelan (Bernadette) who will eventually become Myra Desmond . Notice that Anne Phelan does not get screen credit at the end of this show .Jane Clifton once explained that they had a 100-word clause in their contracts which meant that no matter how many scenes you were in, if you spoke less than a hundred words in a particular episode you were not given screen credit. When I was fifteen I took Home Ec in school, one of our projects was to use a sewing machine and make something to wear. I was taken to a fabric store and I picked one of the hardest materials to do, red and white gingham, like Mary Anns dresses from Gilligan's Island. I.followed the instructions on the pattern but the article of clothing looked horrible. I got an incomplete grade on it. I am better at cooking, baking, cleaning and caring for babies and children. I have been changing nappies for 40 years now. I sat for children since I was twelve because I could be trusted to protect them. Nowadays I don't think parents would let a twelve year old, or anyone under sixteen caring for their children.

Paul has an almost impossible job of creating workable rehabilitation schemes as long as Erica is in charge. If she just used her brain for five minutes, relinquished her stubbornness and got down from her high horse then she may just establish that keeping Bea locked in isolation is purposeless. Bea still has the ability to pass her influence through to the main block as she showed here and good on her too. Rhonda needs to show some discretion with the enforcement of her petty booze rules. Of course Lizzie is gonna want a drink after she has been locked up for all those years for nothing!! Lizzie and Doreen should get dressed when they like and not worry about what Rhonda thinks.

I dunno. I actually agree with the no booze on the premises rule. The ex-crims could be volatile or easily let themselves get out of hand after a long stint in prison, so it is just as well to keep the property as out of the public eye (read - police and neighbours) as possible. The tenants can easily go to the pub if they want to indulge, rather than getting stuck into the booze at home and possibly creating a ruckus. And just a point of accuracy, it is not Rhonda's rule. Karen mentioned it as well back when she was in charge.

Yea, remember when Davo said to Vera that Lizzie had spent at least ten years longer than she should have at Wentworth? That pretty much indicates that she would have been charged and convicted with something along the lines of malicious mischief or attempted murder or some such thing. So even though she never meant for anyone to get dead, she did mean to cause the shearers to become pretty 'crook', which is a crime in itself. It is like people that talk about wreaking revenge by putting Exlax in their food. That is a fairly serious crime.

6:40sec in and second appearance from actress Ann Phelan but not playing the character of Mayra Desmond here instead she's just like Cass Parker. Her name is Bernadette Peters (my god she don't talk!). Originally actress Ann Phelan played the character of screw very briefly before we see this brief character here and then later she went on to play the more popular character of Mayra Desmond of course who works for the PRG and ends up in Wentworth. Ann Phelan was bought in to replace Val Lethan as the new Top Dog when Val left the programme but that is a long way off just yet.
