Joan is actually acting more like a human being for once with Hannah. Its a pleasant change to see her more compassionate side because its such a rarity that she shows it with prisoners.
@31cify7 жыл бұрын
You're right. It's such a shame though, that her compassionate side is only ever short lived. She was great with runaway Shane Munroe, you really wanted him to behave for her because you knew her intentions were the best for his education and welfare. She also acted as good aid to Lorelei Wilkinson during her time of woeful motherhood in later episodes. It's for reasons such as these why we perhaps never truly hate Joan because we knew she had caring bones in her body, it's as though we despised her sadistic demons but not her exactly. I guess that was the charisma that Maggie brought to the show.

Not many episodes ago Colleen was all for leaving her husband and children,so perhaps all the hysterics following their deaths was just for show.🤭Families,loved ones,friends all die off but in a matter of three episodes (I'm being generous to the writers here!)they are gone and forgotten, without nary a tear!Are all prisoners,screws,governors this unfeeling???! Perhaps that is the thin thread that connects them all together.They have this shared iciness which contributes to the staff,at times, behaving like the criminals in their personal lives,or,as in the case of the Freak,in Wentworth also!Which are the imprisoners and which the prisoners???🤔🙄🥴🥱🤭🇬🇧♥️♥️♥️🐊🐊🐊

It seems to always be the way. I started watching Prisoner in the 500's era, back in 1996 on ITV in England when I was 14. I got used to the fact that the moment certain female characters outside of prison appeared frequently, it would only be a certain matter of time that she would end up in Wentworth, one way or another lol. 😉😃

@grecosgreecedaz6026 I can see your logic behind the statement. A person would very soon know if Joan Ferguson was their enemy.
