Frank truly is one of the nastiest creatures the show has created. He is devious, dangerous and extremely horrible to look at. It was so obvious that the letter was a warning to him to stay inside, just as well that guy couldn't shoot properly.Judy actually gave Lou a better run for her money this time around, I was fully expecting Lou to hold her up against the dryer again, maybe it would have reached that point had Dennis not walked in. Funny how the woman manage to gang up on Lou when there is money involved, and yet when Judy was in trouble from Lou the other episode they didn't wanna know and just stood there watching, that is despite claiming to be her friend. With friends like that who needs enemies..... It really is so stupid that Shane wasn't allowed to stay with Joan permanently and it makes no sense whatsoever that he is with this foster family who are clearly incompatible.

Yes- I was thinking that too, about the Shane situation. Clearly, Shane had never been used to being in a proper family unit, and so spending what little time he did with Joan on a one to one basis (albeit, she was hardly ever there), was evidently the right kind of situation for him to be in. It was working, and made him feel secure and loved. The new family is way too much of a massive jump into unchartered territory for him, and it hasn't really been the right move so far. Even though he won't be able to understand it himself, I can understand why he is lashing out. He does not feel comfortable with it at all, and for different reasons this time *still* doesn't feel like he is getting the right one to one attention and care he so desperately needs.

She was a real force when she first arrived - prepared to take on Bea Smith and give any of the girls who gave her any trouble a good slapping around. The writers turned Judy into a raving peacenik. The problem if you took the original Judy and didn't make her have a weak heart, you basically get Myra. And the first rule of writing is don't have two characters do what one can do. So they had to find some reason for Judy not to be tough, thus her no violence stand.
