The Garib Rath, whose name means “Poor Man's Chariot“, was introduced with the facilities of being fully air-conditioned and running faster than most other super-fast express trains running presently. The maximum speed of Garib Rath trains is 130 km/hr which is the same as Rajdhani's top speed.

I have objection only to the word garib. Any self esteemed person will never call himself garib. The most economical airline in India did not call itself garib airline but they call themselves Indigo airline. If I call myself garib then I have no ambition to get out of the evil effects of poverty. This mentally of earlier politicians has resulted in keeping the Indians always as underdogs till the new govt took over. Naming a train Vande Bharat creates a sense of pride rather than calling it garib rath.

Vande bharat is just a makeup on local train. If the railway permit 160kpmh mark to local train they can achieve it. Shatabdi is a true legend. And yes, WAP4 is a lambhi race ka ghoda for Indian railways

No Hathras Jn is situated at the province of Uttar Pradesh on Howrah Delhi Main line around 161 km from New Delhi railway Station and Netaji Express (6.48) is indeed comming from Howrah (the trainmain station of Kolkata city)

I rode Vande Bharat two days back. Hit 110 kmph. On my way back, I boarded a Fast Passenger Train, it hit 100kmph. I have the screenshots too. Plus, the washrooms of Vande Bharat are pathetic against what we pay, food normal - nothing great, body and finishing of interior pretty ordinary and fragile if compared toa robust and healthy Shatabdi.....till now, it's all publicity and less value for Vande Bharat. Period. NO BHOOKAMP.

The speed of vande bharat is capped by track conditions, not due to the train itself. Indian Railway is upgrading the tracks by 9km per day. Then these trains will be able to achieve their full potential. As for the interiors, it is the joint responsibility of public to use the trains properly. It just shows how idiotic our country's c common populace is that trains are getting dilapidated in a matter of months.
