Thereafter, the army of Ghori retreated . The Muslim fighters had the most robust, swift and thoroughbred horses. As such, they escaped uncaught by the Indian forces. Moreover, on getting easy victory in battle, the winners become carefree and start merrymaking.

Well, they fought internal battles with neighbors in India. They didn't face the swords of zealots of Islam. Prithviraj fought and faced the world conquerors formidable Muslim warriors of his times. India was a divided country of many smaller rulers. Prithviraj was also the ruler of Ajmer Suba or province. In Delhi, most of Haryana and part of Rajasthan and western U.P. upto Mathura , Tomaras ruled. Similarly, there were scores of other petty states in North India. In first battle of Terrain, in 1191, a large union of rulers participated in defeating Mohd. Ghori. Perhaps this victory made the Indian rulers careless and complacent. As a result, in 1192, they lacked the earlier larger participation and were less cautious. Moreover, this time, Ghori was better prepared and also befooled the Indians by his treachery and cunning diplomacy.

Dear Suraj Chauhan ji, I liked your concern and detailed write up. There is difference in Akhyan Kavya and objective history. Since, many narratives popular in society and mentioned in many books are based on Prithviraj Raso, a Akhyan written about 1526C.E.; your impressions are based on those stories. Sh. Virendra S. Rathod has written a well researched book of history based on credible historic sources. I have read the book and found his arguments and establishments very rational and largely factual. Although, I differ on some counts with him even then I found his book on Prithviraj Chauhan as one of the best book written so far. His logical discussions before arriving at a conclusion are empirical and objective. You are a young man . Keep your passion and curiosity to know the subject alive. In a couple of years your experience and exposure will pay you lot of dividends. Your chain of thoughts and progressive reasoning is commendable. Regards.

True rajput land is from the foot of himalaya i.e not in mountain( north) to vindhyanchal i.e mp ( south) and from atak nadi(west) to bihar(east) in south. That same thing was proclaimed by vighrah raj chauhan in his Delhi stambh inscription by claiming extent of arya bhoomi. Pal were not the rulers of bengal. Because bihar was in bengal during british time that is why historian says pal ruler of bengal. Pal ruled from mudgagiri(munger) district of bihar. Also rajput don't live in the region under muslim occupation. That is why there is no true rajput reside in western up. The true rajput starts from mainpuri in up. Rajput will live under the region govern by rajput jagirdar with their kanyakubja kulpurohit. True rajput identity is sati pratha and their family purohit and their gotra.
