Pritzker Forum on Global Cities: AI for Local Climate Action

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports that as of 2023, 3.6 billion people globally are climate vulnerable. How can AI assist in the fight to reduce global warming, and save lives from climate disasters? This panel sets the scene with a global overview of current sustainability efforts involving AI and will then explore two case studies of initiatives to save lives and inform sustainable policies.
