correct me if i am wrong but maine kaafi employees se baat ki hai in P.E. and they say nowadays these firms prefer management consultants more than investment banker in private equity roles....no doubt that investment bankers still go but the amount hiring of management consultant for pe roles have increased and surpassed or to be modest at par with investment bankers
