Hi Nina and Mario, Can you tell me how you all managed to pick up the mooring ball at Santorini? What time of year was it? I didn't think there were available for private boats? Were you there just for the day or did you spend the night on that mooring? We would love to sail to Santorini but have heard that it is nearly impossible to anchor safely anywhere, the Marina is full, and the moorings are reserved. Do tell....please.

Well... It was not a really free mooring. That's the reasons why our friends stayed on board while we were in town. Check the Southside of Santorini, there you can anchor (depending of the wind conditions of course). It was around end of April. Will check it later and write you on Fb. We just stayed there for a couple of ours and made a night sail back to Ios.

Thanks for the reply. That’s what I thought about you not staying overnight on the mooring. We have friends that have anchored in the south but like you said it depends on the wind direction and strength.

Klasse Video mal wieder.
