The little plastic dome with the yellow cat that Andrew had once had a small Max Factor perfume in it. It is from the 1960's and they mostly came with black cats. I've never seen one in yellow!

Omg! I remember those cats in the dome . We use to get them for Christmas . They would come with perfume . I got a black cat . I wish I still had him. My mom got them in Woolworth . Wow!

Little red pitcher=Avon. I used to collect red glass and was gifted a couple if those buggers. I was sitting here watching and yelling, grab the owl on the table!! Froggy froggy, you missed a froggy!!!! I think my cold medicine is making me loopy. Lol

The pink depression glass is definitely Cubist. I collected 6 place settings and serving pieces one piece at a time. The amber depression glass is a couple different patterns, not a set. I received a pink and a turquoise velvet cat in a dome , holding a perfume vial in 1970 to 1972.

The yellow domed cat was usually a perfume piece. There would have been a small bottle of perfume between it feet. There is also usually a black one like that. Never saw a yellow one. Coty made a black cat & I think so did some other companies.

I have two black ones. One I was told was the old Evening in Paris cobalt blue bottle. But it says Coty. Coty & a couple of other companies made Evening in Paris stuff before Bourjois. I’m not sure who makes it now. I’ve never seen the yellow one let alone a red one. That’s awesome.

I'm a collector of Galia, by Rogaska. I did see some pieces in the boxes. I was married in 1976 and my husband would buy me pieces every year for my Anniversary! The prices now are low compared to what they were before the crash in the 2008-ish. Going for $20 to $30 a glass now. You may want to check them out if you don't know about them. Were only sold at May Co.

Hiya Jocelyn & Andrew, what a fab opportunity to shop minus the insanity of the flea market! Very smart of Dave to hold this private, invite only sale- more dealers should take note during the winter w/ it’s crazy inclement weather! I might even do it for stuff I have no desire to list due to weight or whatever- thank Dave for the idea for me! Around the 6.08 mark to your left were some pretty orange poppy print dishes. They’re the same print as the dishes my mum grew up with but the few left from my MaMa (gran) were an Art Deco shape; how I’d love to find that exact plate shape, pattern they’re beautiful! (Even the plain round ones there are gorge!) Can’t wait to see part 2, then the haul; know you’ve ferreted out all the goodies! Thank you for all you’ve done thus far this year! Even tho I started selling as a kid, got serious in the 70s, I love learning! Anyone who says they “know it all” is a liar mouth (how old am I? 😉😆!) If you ever want to delve into vintage clothing & accessories, I’d be happy to help guide you as that’s my primary area of expertise (textiles in general). I’d never say I “know it all” (even on subjects I’m considered a “scholar” by my peers🤣find that hilariously funny!) as I learn everyday. Actually told hubby to shoot me😜 if I ever say I’ve not learnt at least 1 new thing every single day! I crave learning, keeps me on my toes😉! Love it all so much & I believe in paying it forward. Tbh, it’s the fair thing to do after I’ve learned so much from you, Andrew, Sue! Wishes to you & both of your families for a lovely New Year! I think I have or had most of what he is selling! The first shot with the red heart planter, I have several of those in red, pink and white. I have several Fostoria cubist pieces and definitely had the white glass vase (don’t think it’s milk glass). So I was really digging your sale today! Can’t wait for the haul video.

I hope that clear cut glass sells for you, usually anything you post sells but I see more websites that only sell clear and it does not move - color sells, color is different and special and you can tell its old. An exception was that lovely etched stuff you got. Your whale with the beak is likely a Narwhal and the horn is broken off. I love how you both grab the same pieces but at different times! Hope 2020 is everything you want and deserve!

Compare Fostoria's American to any other cube pattern and you will see the differences. Fostoria has sharper points on the cubes and it shines. Hold a piece up to the light. When in doubt, and you have the space on your phone, put a photo of Fostoria American for reference. Does that help any?

Crazy Lamp Lady I had to deal with a lifetime collection of American Fostoria when my mother downsized into assisted living. I have done some research and discovered that American pattern will have 3 mold seams, whereas Whitehall or other similar patterns have 2 seams. Also the quality of the shine is similar to that of crystal when cleaned. The fairy lights are Homco and you can see their mark on them on the bottom. They look like they should be American, but fairy lights of that type were not produced in that pattern. Hopes this helps as well.

Yes!!! Those kitties came with a lil bottle of cologne for about $2. The cats came in different colors. I can't remember the cologne but it was either made by Coty or Prince Matchibelli.(?) I'd get them for teacher's gifts.

oh, the yellow cat that Andrew just picked up is supposed to have a long round perfume bottle between his front legs. I just got a blue one like that and dropped the bottle and the complete bottom broke off. So i glued the rest of the bottle in the hole and i am going to list it "just for display". and add that the bottle is damaged.

The pink is cubist, if it is pink it is cubist as it was reproduced or copied. The amber pieces of depression are several different patterns.
