I'm not personally a flybridge person, but I absolutely LOVE the flybridge access from within the clears. I've seen some bulkhead/mezzanine helms that require you to leave the cockpit to access them, and it just baffles me how that made it past the design phase.

With her weather enclosures and double windlass she is definitely a world cruiser not just a tropics boat

Rob, I love this boat. Have watched 10 times. Can you tell me how fast she can sail? Upwind performance? BTW, my neighbour at the cottage bought an Antares from you, when you were in Canada. He loved it. Kind Regards from Toronto

Hi Guenther, The 640 (now 650) is the most impressive catamaran to see being built. The boat is a very comfortable cruising yacht and the boat you see in the video just completed a passage from the Caribbean to La Paz on the Sea of Cortez. The captain is extremely happy with how the boat sails (including its ability to point in heavy weather). Normally she is a 8-10 knot boat. Say hi to your cottage neighbour for me.

The catamaran is beautiful, but I do not like the elevated place to drive it, and much less in bad weather and rain, the wheelhouse of this catamaran is dangerous and does not protect the captain or the crew, we do not talk about the sun, the protective hood, looks like a toy

is the flybridge the elevated steering wheel place?
