I have stayed at the Playa Meloneras many times including the first year it opened. The introduction of the Privilege upgrade package some years later in my opinion destroyed the expereince of staying there. When I stay at a 5 star hotel, I don't expect to be barred from certain areas by ropes and locked doors and looked down on by other guests because I have not paid enough! All areas should be open to all guests. It's just a money generating exercise. Coming from a marketing background, I cannot believe that H10 picked the privilege as it's branding theme. This makes guests not staying privilege feel inferior!
