I'm so exciiited!, ballet will forever be my favorite profession, and seeing new dancers join companies that have been around for decades makes me feel warm and fuzzy

those boys were holding on to that bar for dear life. looked like a challenging class for them.

Lovely to see the dancers in warm up class. Saw the barre shake there which indicates nerves and someone gripping the barre too hard. Relax ladies, it's your warm up. I appreciate you're trying to impress from the get go. You will have all week to show how well you shine. Good luck to you all. xx

So happy you're back! Thanks for expanding the stream, this is a very busy time of year at my job and the Prix is a very soothing background! Well, it can be a little distracting because the dancers are all so wonderful, but we just won't mention it to my boss, haha! All the best wishes to all of the young artists!

I was going to comment the same thing. I am half work from home and have this on the tv in the background. The onstage class is a beautiful presentation. The sound of the live piano with the teacher's voice in that space is lovely, and watching the girls brings me back to my earlier class days. As Cynthia notes, this class is meant to be especially calming to the dancers as they warm up.

Qu'est-ce que je donnerais pour pouvoir prendre un cours de ballet avec cette prof. Super cours, très épuré.

My favorite time of the year! However I’m sad, no more raked stage :(
@caroleberreur9585 Жыл бұрын
Oh no. I really feel for dancers who dance on a raked stage. About time! It’s usually awkward.

In our amateur ballet lessons, everybody would stand away from the bar, move to the edge of the studio in order to make sure every one can see the teacher when she demonstrates. I've noticed that in professional or preprofessional lessons like this, nobody really does that. Is it that everybody can always find a spot to see clearly or they are advanced enough so they can just listen? Sorry it's such a minor thing but it always puzzled me. 😅 Nice job and good luck to everyone there though 🌹🌹🌹

In my ballet classes, you can often listen by learning terminology, and there are enough people around you - that if you get confused you can just look arounf

not everyone knows what they are looking at and some commentary from people who've been there and know the process and dance is welcome.
