right. They should've just ended Priya and Caleb's storyline right there and have Priya get eliminated instead in the episode that Damien got eliminated, Because after Priya gets eliminated instead of her getting all huffy and puffy and shocked, instead she wouldn't care and would instead and normally would tell Caleb to win for them, as for Caleb's arc it's all on him to help win for him and Priya. (Hell they should've had MK take over as the villain instead by her getting her revenge on Julia for what she did to her last season therefore stabbing her in the back and such, pretty much Julia should've swapped places with MK instead in the elimination table. And as for Damien he should've been kept in the finals and it should've really been Damien and Caleb vs MK).

I wish that after the challenge, Damien confronts Julia on why she was messing with him and she explains that she thought she was copying him and they go back and forth until Julia shows him his immunity idol where no one else can see. And she makes a deal with him by telling he'll get his idol back if he votes with her, which she could possibly convince the Hockey Bros to vote with her as well. Then Priya would finally be gone and Damien can get more screen time. I wanted Damien to get at least top 5 this season but he gets 6th like c'mon dawg.

They shoulda done a story where Caleb and Priya make up in this episode, realizing their parents were too hard on them and winning doesn’t actually make em happy. So Priya goes home and Damien stays. Cause their story doesnt need to be that long. At the elimination, Julia can still give Caleb immunity, except this time it’s for a less strategic reason & she just does it cause she’s salty that priya beat her up. They coulda still done the Raj and Wayne voting Damien and being sad thing, except Damien in this version would actually still have the idol and surprise Julia with it when he uses it to stay in the game; which woulda been good pay off cause Julia didn’t think highly of damien earlier in the episode. I think a Damien V Julia conflict woulda been more interesting then what their setting up here.

So, this has very rapidly become one of the most hated episodes of the show. And yeah, I fully agree. Not only does yet another beloved character get thrown out for the Caleb and Priya plotline, it’s in a really fucking stupid way. Also the elimination contradicts the first fucking line in this episode since Damien said he moves the idol four times per day and yet at the end of the episode he checks where he hid it at the start of the day. Horrid writing. What I would’ve gone for here is letting Damien still have the idol and getting Priya booted in a spot where she still thinks Caleb betrayed her again and all of her friends have accidentally harmed her in some way to set up a potential Priya villain arc in the next season. If felt like they were already going there with how angry and violent she’d become. But nope, they threw away Damien before he could even make top five because he got carried off my goddamn bees… and Chase posthumously screwed over yet another character. Anyway Julia is still crushing this game and I respect that for her. They set up an amazing Damien and Julia rivalry this episode too and there it away for nothing.

@@mora6964 That is true, i like her more than Heather and Scott, for an example, but it's a fact that Julia just did the Heather strategy, which is taking advantage of someone else who was also trying to win, and that is the only reason that she got here, which is different from Scott, for an example, since he "forced" Mike to help him, and that got Mike eliminated, the problem is that this happened way too much already, since Heather also caused Lindsay's elimination, so the fact that Julia is still here makes me really angry, which is why i am just hoping for Kaleb to win

What you might’ve missed was Damien said he was moving the idol’s hiding spot basically every day. It’s extremely likely julia would’ve seen him at least ONCE if he was doing it multiple times.

I can kinda get why however, Julia figured and knew for a fact that Damien was gonna cause serious trouble to her gameplay in terms of challenges up to this point, so by making the odds turn around in the favor slowly, it slowly turned the odds against Damien due to how sympathetic the hockey bros were, causing more beef between Caleb and Priya, and having the votes gained in her favor to guarantee herself as the main dominant threat once more. And even as a middle finger to Damien, even stealing his immunity totem to basically guarantee her spot as a finalist

Yeah, a lot of these eliminations seemed quickly fabricated just for the sake of a plotline to continue, and besides, Priya and Caleb’s plotline didn’t need to extend any further, the writers just decided to add more drama causing Damien to get unfairly eliminated.
