Priya's Story | Fighting Rhabdomyosarcoma | The Kids' Cancer Project

One of the 950 children diagnosed each year with Childhood Cancer is seven year old Priya. Priya was diagnosed in April 2015 with Stage IV High Risk Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma accounts for just 5% of all childhood cancers.

Priya is still alive and now 4 years in remission in May 2021 she will reach 5 years in remission. Everyday is a blessing we are so grateful

all I know is she was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4....if she passed I hope she had happy memories with her family.

@Bianca Bianca she's doing really well now, thanks for asking. She dealt with a surgery to remove the tumor, then a long road of chemo. I know Priya's mom now and her story helped get us through it.
