I have no idea why people think Simon is smitten, etc. What did I miss? He comes across as polite and encouraging rather than excited himself. Yes, both are interacting, but there is no sense of personal involvement with the other or even knowing each other much. On Simon's end, it seems curiosity about her experience. Priyanka seems to be so overwhelmed by her own excitement, she has no bandwidth for much else. It is interesting because of actors from such diverse situations interacting. Different gender, different country, different size of industries they belong to, different cultures, different familiarity with the current situation... even if both iconic and charismatic. Indian uncles and aunties will see romance every time a man and woman talk. Simon is leaning back, barely says something before being interrupted, repeatedly. Priyanka is fidgeting with her clothes, constantly. Hardly screams trust or comfort. Let alone romance.
