I know every inch of korean food cuz I'm a kpop fan and in teokbokki , those rice "cylinders " are actually rice cakes 😅

The flour and water are mixed together to form a dry dough and then it is steamed to achieve that dough like consistency. It is then shaped into long cylinders and cut into smaller ones. In Korea they make it in bulk and store it. It freezes very well
