@@dr.debajyotibose2928 An extremely unnecessarily comment which does nothing but show how obnoxious some people can be. He's trying to understand, which is all the matters. Of all the things to say, you just had to say the worst thing, isn't it?

Hello Nobel Prize executives and all interested, professor Esther Duflo is a very good lecturer on her subject of expertise in poverty research. She also has common sense on the importance of all insights in poverty must most certainly address the children and youth of today via appropriate curricula and relevant knowledge imparted in the classroom as a functioning education. She is very smart on the impact of all the results as well as the findings of scholarly work.

It is so amazing to see women at the top of their #STEAM fields. I have committed to furthering my understanding of development economics and policy skills refinement, inspired by Duflo & Banerjee. Among my favourite Nobel winning economists to date. Her Passion, Acuity, Lucidity comes through very thoroughly by the intonation of her voice. The work that she has done one United Nations Sustainability Development Goal #2 cannot be rivalled.

A person who hasn't any money but is able to build his house and produce his food using natural resources and good environmental methods, is considered poor? A person who has a lot of money and is able to purchase the most basic needs and beyond, but has to work at least 40 hours for someone, is considered less poor? A person who inherent all his properties and money, and lives purchasing deluxe stuff, is considered rich? There are a lot of escenarios and I can't find an objective way to say that someone is poorer or richer than other, unless you use one single dimension, which is monetary income (or something related with money), but that leaves behind things that people also value, such as culture, religion, community network, values and so on. So, in conclusion, the concept of poverty should not be imposed as something that every group of people must eradicate using the same formula.

Probably a real index for "rich or poor" would be pollution : the first person does not pollute, and is "poor". A guy who travels by plane, has a swimming-pool, follows the fashion and goes skiing every winter with his big car pollutes in a huge way, and is "rich". The richer you are, the more you pollute. That's why the richest people are the most dangerous for earth and climate, even if they are educated and sort their waste, this is peanuts compared to their way of living.
