I loved it when Kami flexed her Filipino roots to explain her unique sense of taste!😅 I do agree that we do eat some foods that are questionable to some. I do eat bitter melon but prefer it to be first soaked in salty water for a bit to dampen it's bitterness, then sautéd and mixed with scrambled eggs. I did not expect to actually like the taste of crispy locusts and farm frogs, so eating grubbs for Kami is just like munching on peanuts😅 Balut (steam-boiled fertilized duck eggs) is another common Filipino favorite street food that others are so grossed out. These are just some of the exotic food choices in the Philippines but almost every other Asian country has their own versions of questionable food selections as well😊
