I just found a racing pigeon too, he was outside of a thrift store in my area exhausted and starving. I took him home and managed to track down his owner. I'm located in Connecticut and the bird traveled three hours after getting lost in a race in New Hampshire. I've been caring for it in the meantime until he's picked up in the next couple of days. He's such a sweet bird.

Everyday I had a mixture of racing birds and wild pigeons that I feed everyday, 3 times a day. I’ve also noticed in the recent weeks and new arrival, as he has a blue tag on one leg and orange on the other. They are such beautiful beings, not scared of me at all. Not sure if they are lost or that maybe these birds prefer to be free and fly around without being caged up which is not what these birds are for?! 🧐
