Just got my surgery through the military and I'm on day 6. I feel like my vision has been getting progressively worse since surgery day. I definitely don't feel safe to drive. I'm going to go to the doctor to see if they will give me a couple more days off of work.

I am waiting for that day when I wake up and I can see clearly. I believe I will sob as well. I am on 6 of recovery and things are still blurry :( I know this is the healing process and I too don't like to rely on others to take care of me. I hate making my family wait on me and feel so helpless. I also feel selfish because I've missed a lot of time being able to play with my kids, etc...I have had terrible vision practically my whole life, similar to yourself. My prescription was at -6.5 in both eyes. Fortunately, it has plataeud (sp?) to where I was a candidate for vision correction. I enjoy your videos, you have a positive outlook on life. I wish you all the best. And hope you will get to hike the Appalachian Trails!!

Thank you so much for your kind comments, Rachel. I remember day 6. It was so frustrating and I was just bummed. I'm closing in on week 4 and it is much better than day 6. It's so weird waking up to clear vision! I love it! Still some blurriness, sensitivity to certain lights, trouble reading. But it's intermittent. I wish you a speedy recovery!!
