Thanks! This was helpful. I'm undergoing nipple reconstruction in March and I was curious about this procedure. I had opted not to because of going the "orgami" way. After seeing this I'm more comfortable with my choice to proceed.

It's quite amazing, to see this procedure done. I'd like to see the results after a few months, as well as the areola "tattooing" procedure which the video mentions. I assume that the patient had had a breast-reconstructive surgery beforehand, and I'd also like to know how that was done.

how does this reconstructed nipple take to post op radiation? can this be done after radiation following Onco-plastic breast procedures? any healing issues?

+Mala Sharma Nipple reconstruction should not encounter any extreme healing issues post radiation. Typically, this procedure is performed at the second stage of reconstruction so radiation treatments have been completed for some time reducing the risks for any complications.
