In this project, we will create an alleyway of a machiya (townhouse) in Kyoto.
It will be a long alley, and we will install each stone one by one. Please take a look.

Can you please tell me when you are wetting down the sand around stones, and then using trowel around edges, is there concrete in the mix or just sand? How do the pavers not shift around over time if just using sand? Thank you.
