Impressive demonstration of Japanese garden design and installation. Unusual materials, perspective, aesthetics compared to boring, common place western trends. Congratulations!

The circular hole opened in the wall, the paving stones elevated at one end and the beautiful large stone set through the curb are all such unexpected and energizing elements in the design. They allow one's eye to move through the two horizontal dimensions of the garden and then the Dai cedars brings the viewer to the third, vertical dimension. One can only dream of having such a great choice of stone elements available for gardens! This is a masterpiece in the making! Thank you for presenting it so well.

Thank you! You are so right! Keep looking forward to the contrast between the straight lines of the Dai cedar and the curved bamboo fence we'll make in the next video!😊

This garden is amazing. Can’t imagine the years and years put towards learning all these skills.

That's right! It really takes a lot of time and effort to learn this technique. I, too, believe that it is because of this skill that a garden like this is possible.

I see you folks have snow catchers on your roofs. That means you must get significant snow. We have lots of houses with snow catchers here in upstate New York on the shore of Lake Ontario too because we get bombed with snow in winter. 😁 love the bamboo fence. Love the house too.

Amazing job, I was a little amazed they didn't protective goggles. On the wall, are the roof tiles tied up so the wind doesn't don't remove them away? I imagine it's because of the typhoons in Japan. The bamboo fences, I think it lacked the characteristic lace of the Japanese pattern, but it's still beautiful. Thanks

Thank you! Yes, you're right. We use copper wire to stop it from falling. It's going to be an even better garden, so keep watching the videos!
