There are so many real moments within this performance that connect with you, but when he scratches his forehead or shifts in his chair, it's almost unnoticeable, and it feels like someone you love is finally opening up their vulnerabilities to you. It's next-level stuff. It's not even acting anymore. It's sharing. It's being.

I love how at 8:40 he looks up for a second and it made me realize he had been looking down for a long time where I hadn't noticed before and it made that tiny look that much more powerful. And really distinguished how vulnerable he was being that he wasn't checking in with people's reactions on the lines around it.

I love Jeremy's work and I love your take on this. I really appreciate the way you point out what the thought process might look like when doing a scene like this.

I enjoyed the video. But I was kind of gobsmacked when you were so casually dismissive of the role writing played and plays in great onscreen moments. The Bear is magnificent synthesis of writing and acting, and your assertion that great actors can make poor writing into good cinema is kind of perverse. In “The Bear,” we get to cheer both of these aspects, plus the cinematography, sound, lighting, costumes, editing and all.
