My first NEIPA to brew and I was a bit cautious on the kettle hops I think. I had a calculated 38IBUs, should have went higher. Disappointed the aroma didn't translate, tried used a counter pressure bottle filler for the frist time and not sure I got it down when bottling these, but I found it very punchy aroma wise on tap. Notes taken for the next one, whenever my bank account recovers and I can afford another big batch of hops lol. Thanks to Nate and the guys for putting on this little tasting and congrats to David, looking forward to seeing the final part of the series soon.

You guys got the reference put in the video already! Big Bobs Burgers fan, and I used NZ hops…so Buttle Rubbies is the name. Thanks again! And I got Nate to say Buttle Rubbies, which was also part of the plan

Ok this is cool, but what would be amazing is to see how the home brewers brewed the beer. Their equipment, recipes, etc. could couple it with a treehouse beer inspired by the home brews.

I’d love to make my homebrew orange instead of yellow. I’ve tried caramalt but it made it look dull brown and oxidised and I tried 5% Munich II but it stayed bright yellow!
