Wouldn't the "Shepherd's Pie" be a Cottage Pie since it uses beef instead of lamb....I know he chucked in lamb stock but not sure if that's enough to change it 😅 I guess in the end, who cares as long as it tastes good!

It's an interchangeable thing technically but it's widely agreed that Shepard's Pie is Lamb or Mutton and Cottage Pie is Beef. So it is technically both but native Brits like myself would call this a Cottage Pie.
