I played village and local league cricket for 35 years and I can recall countless hilarious incidents that would easily make this video but of course, they weren't captured on film because most took place before we all had mobile phones to capture it on.

Village cricket is struggling though, not enough young people wanting to play the game and those who do give it up in their late teens or early twenties. Loads of village clubs in my area have died in the last 20 years.
