Since you like a challenge maybe consider making it a build-a-country save. Start in a conti team in one of the lower ranked countries on the european roster and stick with your recruiting to just this region. F.e. scandinavia - without norway. Or monaco, san marino, malta, lichtenstein, andorra.

PCM player from 2010 here - this game is completely unplayable. It is scripted beyond my wildest imaginations. 10 hrs in and I still haven't won a stage. I had to test it and set up completely unloseable scenarios. It is IMPOSSIBLE. Changing the difficulty does NOTHING, and the peloton breaks up at the weirdest times (and it will NOT get back together) making general classifications completely random in terms of a winner. I'm seriously shocked at the state of this hot garbage. I can't get the game refunded as I, unfortunately, gave it a chance stupidly thinking it was just me who was the worst PCM player in the world after 13 years of being solid.

Is it still like this? If not I gonne buy it and pcm 2024 too. If it still is this mess I just skip this and buy pcm 2024. This was the first year they implemented medium mountain stat, so this year it should be better like it allways it if they implement something new wait for the next edition..

@@Kvs-vf9nt i'd say skip this. I've found some exploits so I can actually win stages now, but it's just so wonky and nothing realistic or rewarding about it. Peloton still breaks up randomly and ruins every stage race. I've also encountered new gamebreaking bugs since then. I can't recommend it unfortunately

It's a scandalous game. racers used by the computer always win even if they have low ability levels. you never manage to win, how disgusting
