“Thanks” is one of the most gorgeous Seventeen choreo there’s really cool hidden messages in it! Like at 9:58 the arm choreo is the sign language for “thank you” and 11:51 they spell out T, H, X with their formation!

The genre of thanks is called future bass. While it is in the realm of edm it is more mainstream and quite different from something like dubstep which is more hardcore. Am analogy would be future bass is to rock as dubstep is to death metal.

all of the performance team members have practiced contemporary before, especially hoshi and the8, but all of the members have learned Korean traditional dance for around 3-4 years, and Scoups and Woozi doing it for around 4-5 years. Which is one of the reasons why they utilize the turn in Korean traditional dance so much in their choreographies. Loved your reaction anyways!! always think you guys' commentaries are so detailed

Yes, I love Pledis so much for that!!! I took it as a kid too, but wish I had stuck with it for longer.

Aaahhhh another Seventeen Reaction 😆😆😆😆 I have to say, your friend just made me realize that whoever was in charge of dance training for Seventeen before debut must have been a legend!!! Because while some of them had experience dancing, someone had to teach them the technique and control. And the fact that they ended up with 13 amazing dancers is a credit to that person (or group of people). Shout out to Hyelim for finding that talent. ❤❤❤❤❤

Aside from korean traditional dance. SVT always had dance lessons in different types of dance. For example for thanks, they took a dance lesson for was it jazz? Or ballet? Even back then SVT would learn dances in different kinds of styles so you can say they really are all rounders and would not just stick to one type of dance.

i think all of pledis trainees had to train in korean traditional dance before debut, theyve all got like three yrs or more experience woozi mentioned it on nana tour. idk if its similar to contemporary tho ibsr
@Sugas_Girr6 сағат бұрын
No, it's not very similar, but I do think it really helped SVT's dance abilities! I did it as a kid too, and wish I had kept up with it more.
