hi guys, once I bought the two amps for the 2 jbl passive speakers and the jbl passive subwoofer, how should I connect everything? my setup is made up of a usb sound card, which from the mac should I bring the sound to one of the 2 amps (which one?, that of the 2 passive speakers, or the amp that feeds the subwoofer?). then I have an equalizer, even this I don't know where to connect it. what will be the right chain? thank you in advance

Connect two amps with two cables www.amazon.it/Maschio-millimetri-Bilanciato-adattatore-fascette/dp/B00KDEHJ34 then connect sound card to equalizer to first amp. Put second amp (subwoofer) in bridge mode and connect 1 subwoofer to channel 1 (mono).

what crossover you used for the test?

We used the built in crossover on the Crown XLS 2502 amp. It is a low pass filter option. I think we used the default 180 Hz.

Massimo, we just uploaded a video on Crown Amplifiers. To power the JBL JRX speakers you will need a Crown XLS1002 amplifier. To power the JRX218 subwoofer you will need a second Crown XLS1002. You will want to set the second amplifier to bridge mode and set the low pass filter for the subwoofer (on LCD screen). It has a slanted rack at the top. About 8 inches is open and the rest has a removable carpeted plywood top. We put our mixer on one and a laptop on another. For what these guys are doing this series will be just fine the SRX series are nice but really are for a really big room Big venue i’ve got four SRX 728 I rarely use most times I usually just use one put it in the centre off the stage works great but I don’t DJ very often because I’m a sound engineer doing live most of the time But for the live entertainment I don’t use JBL I use Adamson

You probably already did and for sure you will damage more your hearing if you continue to treat it like you do. Hobby is one thing but your parents should not give you toys that can ruin your life without educating you first on how to safely use it. Please mind yourself. You don't want to live rest of your life with damaged hearing and consequences of it.
