Love your doubles videos, keep them coming. I was wondering where the best place to hit a volley or poach volley when your opponents are both back. Thanks

I take a split step backwards when at net to get your momentum forward. This is a much more efficient way to move towards the ball when Youre at net. When split stepping forward you tend to lose balance and fall forward. I thought this was tennis 101?

I know you say split step should be around 0.2-0.25 sec after the opponent hit the ball. But for the beginner, it is difficult to know when to start split step. Is it correct to say I should jump up to make split step at the same time the opponent make a back swing to hit the ball?
