i remember when i got into drifting i picked up a nissan silvia s12 that was a auto 1.8 turbo with a blown engine so swapped it out for a manual sr20det setup and some off named coilovers and welded up diff was great fun to get into drifting and lasted 3 years to i parted it out and picked up a s15

The thing with E-town is there was no skid pad area to drift when this was uploaded. There is now like a skid type thing but it's not used often it's more for autocross. And the FD/comp track isn't used for club loose I believe.

I was at a clinic last weekend with cl and they used the stadium to teach donuts and figure 8s. They also have the kart track which is pretty much an open parking lot. Also eastcoastdriftschool uses everything there for private sessions

Whats the best way to start learning how to get into this for a complete beginner?

Start small man. Focus on pure seat time. Save the build and all that for later. Just focus on seat time and keep at it. Then maybe go t5o a couple grassroots comps as a spectator and see what people are rocking with and if you want start into that slowly start a build thats kinda for you and your driving skill/ style. DOnt worry about expensive parts, mods, etc. Go for reliability and shred man.
