@@Longgadog-ey3ud no it's not, it's super limited compared to other programming languages, some basic functions just don't exist. Also if you are a scratch developer for a long time it's almost impossible to get to to switch and move on to something better

I remember remixing AIA’s game and making worse and better at the same time, worse in that I gave the birds ai, and that they get depressed when you kill other birds near them. And better because well the ui the ability for the game to end, and the new movement of the birds. And it still hasn’t gotten banned.

@@AIAdev Have you ever tried using a scratch mod called TurboWarp? It's like scratch, but better with the limits removed and dozens of extensions bringing new custom blocks. Also, it has better performance and a feature to turn your project into an exe file. And it doesn't have goofy bans for kool-aid like Scratch.

​@@ad1340yt no it doesn't, stock python and turbowarp scratch I tested it and they are very similar in speed however like scratch there are ways to make python faster and of course with C# and stuff they are like 100 x faster then python anyway so why bother. and trust me scratch is super limited and just pointless, they don't have for loop among hundreds of other premade functions and yes you can make them yourself but you're kinda crippling yourself sticking with scratch.

in scratch, there is a clone limit of 300. if for that candy game you use clones, you should delete them using the "delete clone" block. after like, 0.5 seconds you should delete them

Yep. It's not easy for people to just switch after they've spent years and years learning the engine and developing games for it. Unity reversed their original plan and the CEO stepped down. Moving forward they'll be under a microscope much more than ever
