Great video. Got myself a Trencher SE set last week after watching this one. Most videos I watched; people are doing holes in rims and tires to get those dirty free. 🤔 So my set #1159 notice it doesn’t have any holes. I believe that the way it should be but; do I need or should make holes rims/tires? Set mounting on Slash Platinum LCG VXL 4x4 lipo 3s. Cheers

Hello Ben SP, typically tires/and or wheels and ventilated in order to maximize the effort of your tires foam. this will give you the best traction and most consistent drive. however, if you do a lot of off-road in the mud, sand, or snow, or creek runs, I might even recommend sealing up your tires entirely to prevent water from getting inside. also, most of our premounted tires are vented from the factory to prevent inflation/collapsing due to atmospheric pressure changes. hope this helps.
@bensp11935 жыл бұрын
Hi Pro-Line Racing, yes it does help thank you. My pre-mounted have no vent holes at all and just double check those 4 rims/tires. I will let them like it; running those in snow/ice and wet/mud conditions and will consider getting a second set for dry conditions for maximizing efficiency according to terrain. Overall I will benefits dry foams, low maintenance to plug and unplug holes and keep those longer in their seal bags when not use as mentioned from your other video. Much appreciate those tips videos thank you. Cheers.

Nice video man. But one thing I have got to ask is... why aren't the Badlands MX38 3.8 tires stiffer or assembled with a stiffer tire insert for heavy trucks? I've heard people complain about them still ballooning like crazy just like the older tires
@ProLineRacingYT5 жыл бұрын
Hi @ROCKETRY XZACH, Using harder compounds in off-road terrains can decrease traction and stability. Softer compounds allow more grip for better handling, which means curving bigger burms and pulling off better backflips😎 We hope this answers your question, Thanks for your interest and support!
@MT-THNDR2075 жыл бұрын
@@ProLineRacingYT But why not atleast have an optional MX38 with a firm tire insert for us guys with 12.5Ib+ trucks? I've got a Traxxas brushless E Maxx with all RPM parts and it comes in at 12.5 pounds. I have been using the 3.8 Trenchers on it for about three years. But with that weight, it doesn't quite handle the way it should on loose terrain. The side wall on the tires also don't have a great form with all that weight and such a rediculously soft insert.
