Also keep in mind that, if the AI isn't making enough runs or coming close enough for passes, you can command them yourself. Tapping L1/LB will make the player you're pointing at make a run, and R1/RB will make the player you're pointing at come closer for a short pass.

In my opinion the best formations are 41212(2) and 4231 but it depends on your play style. Just find a formation that works out for you since not everyone may like the same formations

@@NealGuides But what time u usually play? On main hours I get ping 6 but my players just don't move at all. Ball is bouncing from they leg even if I don't hold a sprint button at all. Sometimes I get a nice smooth and responsive gameplay and game flying. All passing are are on target, dribbling fully available.

Basically holding lb the whole time while passing so before you pass the receiver goes on a run and then pass back to same person and that person goes on a run too. So the same 2 players passing back and forth and making runs into hopefully open space.

Thx for the video Neal, BUT I seem to play another game. This opponent is easy to play. I‘m in Div 3 and lose 18 of 20 games, because I got pressed all the time by at least 2-3 players, my opponents play 3 times faster and skill all the time! I can hardly get into 1 on 1 and if, I lose. My defensive do nearly nothing and I trief out all your tactics. I play also basic without skills and so due to I‘m 44 years old. But I have no chance against that constant pressure. Then mostly comes a throughball, 3 opponent players stand in front of my GK and I‘m done. Dont know….

This video makes good points but.... you're clearly playing here against a div 40 player, who has no clue what he's doing and runs goblin mode towards the ball trying to defend... yes, you need to master the basic, you can even have bronze players with 32 pace, but having a great team with meta players helps MILLIONS even when you fail some basic stuff. Get 95 plus pace in the wings and honestly it can turn games even when you're playing top players, which is sad. FIFA has steadily reduced the gap between sweaty and skilled, to the point people think sweaty is skilled. Which is false.
