That's is huge difference before and after. Actually when I hear your raw tracks, vocal for example, it looked initially there is nothing possible to do with them, but with plugins, it sounds very good. Good job. I just started mixing life performances in my church and for now it's very bad, more videos like this would help, especially how you manage to work on vocals so good.

@@kevindavis2268 Thanks Kevin! So the point of this video was that I actually didn’t do anything special at all in the recording process. This was just the live performances straight into the FOH console (A & H Avantis). I could talk about the microphones or individual musicians gear I suppose, but this is meant to be a demonstration of how much just my mixing process can transform even tracks that haven’t even been engineered for the purpose of being a recording. I have a video on this channel (He Who Is To Come) that is an example of a production that I actually engineered in the studio.

@@kevindavis2268 Yeah that’s great! Happy to answer any specific question. Bear in mind that this is a post-production mix that I did in my DAW after the fact, so it’s not necessarily an example of listening to a livestream in realtime, for example. Although, most of what I’ve done to mix this could be done in that context also.

@@DavidMohMusic Sorry for any confusion, I’m not actually selling a template. That honestly wouldn’t work anyway. I do post-production mixing and provide a finished mix for clients. Basically - you send me the raw audio tracks, and I mix it for you.
