Southern California (and Cali in general) is hard-packed. Also, this was a private day at the racetrack and prepped especially for this practice. This is not normal race conditions. Also, your comment reminds me of how gnarly other tracks around the country get... but especially GP tracks in Europe.

@@sauce1232 Really they don't it's what you are seeing in the early stages of their practice. They ride the heck out of the tracks, and they are destroyed before their day is over, deep rutted, braking bumps, blown out berms, square edge faces and blue grooved!

Okay go out there and make the track rough like a 2nd Moto. It takes laps and time to get to that. If you get it’s a Public track the. Why are you asking to make it rough when they can’t make it that rough. Plus practice day rough is a different story compared to Racing rough

Just finished watching star training vid before this and the track was flat with one line everywhere. Training facility i lived at in 2017 we watered but kept track rough for a week straight, thats what these guys need to do, makes 0 sense to train on a groomed track, what are they training for? First untimed practice?
