Hystar Pad looks amazing. Its a homage to the industrial / mech / Gundam / 80s and 90s album covers. Brings back memories of holograms, colored foil, barcodes, exotic plastics, and cyberpunk typography. Definitely trying to get my hands on this. I have tried laying the P-51 every which way and even cleaning the surface of my desk like an absolute maniac. No matter what I do the pad always feels lumpy, and it's a shame because I'm really enjoying the actual surface. Before someone comments, no my desk is not the culprit.

Ya it may just be permanently bumpy/wavy like mine was in the video. I just think the material isn't ready for prime time like Poron

Good review on these. I’m surprised your Mirai doesn’t have a sticky base. The base on my copy feels a lot more sticky than the Artisan pads.

thank! :) and its definitley sticky enough to not move around. Also I try it out on several desks and some are dustier than others haha ,so that removes a little stickiness. But that at least can simulate some long term feel of how dust or moving it across different surfaces can make it feel. Same was done with Artisan pad

Yeah I think it can maybe get worked on with some more refinements but I really wouldn't consider it better than Poron in anyway atm. Maybe in stickiness ? But Poron sticks really well anyway.
