Literally everyone I’ve watched react to this video forgets Jacob’s Torterra when Jaiden boxes Mewtwo, since Abomasnow’s primary typing is ice. But since it’s a dual-typing & she shows Abomasnow putting it in the box, I can see the confusion lol.

I cringed so hard in editing when I noticed haha, just an easy mistake to make with soul links in general tbh, keeping track of what’s paired to what is tough without a list in front of you

The funny thing about this is that Abomasnow is actually primary grass, so they had two primary grasses on the team. Understandable though, I feel like Abomasnow should be primary ice.

@@ishuikamakura272 no, the weeping bell is primary grass, so they couldn’t use mewtwo, and Jacob had torterra so that’s why we didn’t see mewtwo until the end when torterra died

Jaiden fights every legendary and only catches two, and Jacob gets every legendary possible and somehow actually catches them. I think Lickilicky is supposed to look like Gluttony from Fullmetal Alchemist and Brotherhood. Azumarill's face when attacked by Dillydoo is Enel from One Piece when he realizes his electricity can't hurt Luffy.

While I have no intention of trying a Nuzlocke of any sort myself (it would just stress me out too much, and when I play Pokemon, I do it more for relaxation and to chill than to stress myself out, if I want to stress myself out or deal with something really hard, that's what games like Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne, & Elden Ring are for), I do still enjoy watching other people do them, as they can actually end up showing me how good and viable certain Pokemon that I may otherwise have overlooked could be. Lileep/Cradilly for instance. This is also why I like the Max Raid Battles in the Crown Tundra DLC for Sword & Shield, it forces you to use Pokemon that you may otherwise have never tried to use. This animation from Jaiden is literally what got me to actually give Cradilly a chance myself.

I would take Tentacruel. In a normal run, it's easy to find a surfer, but not so much with a randomizer. Plus, solid offensive type and pretty bulky.

Plus, all that praise for Torterra's Shell Armor is irrelevant in a game where Hidden Abilities are not a thing. I wouldn't take a slow Pokémon with a double weakness in a randomized nuzlocke.

I was spoiled a bit on the first one so didn't think it would be fair to react to it, although I might do so more as a breakdown than a reaction because of that. And I have not seen any of the second one yet.

Getting past all these legenady pokemon is impressive but to be fair they really arent that big of a threat at the low lvl when she battled them. There stats are ofc gonna be abit higher then your team but legendary pokemon are not balanced around this low lvl so there move sets kinda sucks. The higher lvl they are the scarier they will be but becouse in legit games they always have a set lvl and u cant find them below that lvl so there lvl up moveset is kinda trash as a result. Lunala is a perfect example and the Regirock that used Explosion. Lunala is pretty mutch useless as a starter in any game, Nuzlocke more so becouse she only starts out with Teleport and no other moves.

How statistics work in pokemon: if an effect has a 50% chance to negatively affect you, the odd of it happening is actually 90%. If there is a 50% chance to negatively affect the AI, the chance is actually 10% or less. The opposite applies to positive effects.

Nope. It's actually pretty busted if you know what to do. Simple takes every stat change its bearer takes in battle, and DOUBLES it. Eg. If that Pokemon uses, say, Calm Mind, their Special Attack and Special Defense will go up two stages instead of one.

Yes actually, I'm coming back to content creation for the release of the new games and plan on doing a blind nuzlocke of the new games where I'm not allowed to heal at Pokemon centers. I did it for Sword/Shield and Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl and it's an absolute blast.
