Pro-Pal Series - Purge Tee

I just ran into your ball valve tee purge fitting. But I have a question. The way this is piped is looking at your fitting with ball valve handle to the left n branch tees vertical. It is piped with supply on the left branch and return on the right? Well problem is supply water is back feeding into the return! I've done enough hydronic n boilers in general to know that if there's not a check valve in place you will have issues when cross connecting! Is this the correct piping for your valve? If so why is it back feeding ? N 2nd you should never cross connect anything if at all possible without a backflow preventer, check valve. Hope to here a response asap thanks
