18x19 is my favorite pattern. Head really whiffed on not offering a novak like 98 with a more human swing and static weight. I think that would have done well in the market. I hope the people from kennelbach follow your channel.

I am rooting for a Prestige 98 sq.in. / 18x19 pattern / 62RA / 21mm constant beam / 315g / 315mm balance / high 320's SW. I'd get 3 of those in a second.

The Head speed legend is a missed opportunity. It should have been 1 95 or 98 frame with an 18x19 string pattern at a weight that is manageble for average consumers. The regular speed pro/mp should just be a regular black out release. There is nothing legendary about this release. It is a flop as advertised. I love the speed line and will most likely get one for the blacked out glossy paint.

+1 to the light racquets video. I'm going down and down on weight over the last few years as I'm getting older (not SW though) and found myself playing better in those 3rd sets and 2nd set tiebreaks. Gradually went from the Prestige MP (now Pro) - Gravity Pro - 2O24 Speed MP currently.

Those old Head racquets were beautiful. I would love to get my hands on a Youtek Prestige from ca. 2010. I recently bought a Graphene Prestige after using a Gravity for 4 years, and I am falling in love lol. Similar racquet, but I am now at a level where I can appreciate the increased maneuverability.

You mean of the rackets on the market right now, right? Yes, the old radicals were similar to prestiges with its 95in2, thin flexy beams, and 18x20 patterns. By the way, I have understood that Head used to label over-spec their racket headsizes for some reason (not the bs about the outside of the frame, which would be more than 10% extra) but eventually "standarized" this and now 98 rackets are actually 98 in2 instead of 95 in2 like the Pro Tours, Prestiges MP of old (both PT57A), or the LM Rad itself... But to my surprise, I measured my Radical MP 360+ and it clocked (by different methods) between 95 and 96,5 at most. Also, the Graphene Touch Speed MP (Sinners mold) seems to be 98.5-99 instead of 100. So I'm curious, anyone here with one of the new 98 or 99 prestiges can actually measure its inner head height and width?

Just put a nylon sheet over those small courts outside the 2 big stadiums. Prevent rain from falling onto the court and allow wind/air from all the sides to come and go and keep it an outdoor clay tournament. Playing in the 2 big stadiums with the roof closed is indoor clay match, just with more people able to attend/more space/more air, still not stricklt speaking outdoor match (Moutet vs Ofner)

@ChristianSongs7777 3 ай бұрын
the general idea of a pro endorsed racket is to market towards the players that are inspired by or want to emulate their favorite player's playing style. Releasing a completely different racket to Novak's personal specs may actually be the exception tho as his racket is so unique it's not really marketable to a wider playing public.

That thing about natural gut in the crosses is interesting to me. Why would it be the case that natural gut in the crosses would have a lower launch angle than a full bed of Luxilon? I would have assumed that the most powerful type of string would have had a higher launch than stringing with a co-poly. I've only ever tried gut in the mains, which gave a noticeably higher arc on my shots. I would've thought that gut in the crosses would have lowered the launch angle compared to it in the mains, but still higher than a full bed of a co-poly. I don't want to spend the money on gut to find this out for myself, but this is really interesting. I might try this out with a premium multifilament, like X-One Biphase.
