If just plan on replacing the barrel and spring you can do that without a full disassembly. Take out the 'take down pins' and the 4 screws holding the slide. Then the front comes out and you can get to the spring and barrel.

I love your mod videos, Im excited for this one! I personally find it unwieldy without a stock but they do have em out there, xfox always on it. My XLS is around 300 fps, and thats to spicy for actual use, so something like this has its place in my armory 😊

The prime has got to be BRUTAL, You can see him struggling with it in the reflection of the chrono. I just swapped the spring with the stock Xshot Longshot spring and swapped the barrel and I'm getting high 180-190 fps on average with a buttery smooth prime.

The stock collet can be used to secure the barrel, you just have to ream it out to 16mm or 5/8". A six dollar step bit and a twenty dollar drill from Harbor Freight can do this no problemo. Just go light and slow. Barrel material can be any tube that's 13mm or 1/2" inner diameter and 16mm or 5/8" outer. Did you chrono it with a stock barrel length? I'm kind of curious to see what it can do while still keeping the stock dimensions. These things are super compact.

@ I was getting about the same, that stock barrel is loosey goosey though like you showed with the dart going through it like a hotdog in a hallway. I want to see what it can do with a tighter barrel, but stock length.

Stiff prime makes me worry about reloading quick like on the battle field. Maybe a hand catch towards the rear of the blaster like you did w that Max sight may help immensely.

Given that in UK we got a castrated 66FPS version... and K25 spring is not sold here at all - can you advise what spring from other blasters upgrade (like Nerf Longshot 10kg) would be compatible with the blaster, to at least get it above 100FPS?
