No way that’s your fault. Look at where Lauren lands in the rs1 vs where you were. I bet you landed the ball joint went and that’s why it felt like you cased it so bad. And then goin back uphill right after all the shock can do is keep compressing till it was all the way bottomed out and focusing the stress at a week point of a shaft that isn’t designed for large amounts horizontal stress.

I've had my Polaris Pro R since Feb of this year. I have it on 40" Trepadors and have 1200 miles on it. I live in Tennessee next to TWRA trails and those miles are mostly Windrock, Royal Blue, Brimstone and Tackett Creek. I have hit black Diamond, Double Blacks in Windrock (Not Gate Keeper yet) and have had no issue. I am beginning to think Polaris rushed delivery on some parts and they are not to spec while some are. That said to be sure I am ordering some Keller ball joints.

I was going to go buy a Pro R this afternoon till I saw this video, I am not going to go spend the big money right now for a 4 seat pro R untill they get this figured out. I can certainly wait as I dont need issues like that on a car that is heavier than your 2 seat. I hope that was covered by polaris., I have seen now 5 of rgese cars have this happen including the factory backed Pro R of Wayne Marlock. I feel they rushed to get this car to fast. Uniballs and 4130 pins would make so much more sense. Lauren you are doing great in your RS1, love mine as well as my 18 4 seat turbo. This is the 2nd time I have watched you and will watch more Be safe.

These manufactures (not just Polaris) are notorious for putting inexpensive/substandard parts on these vehicles. It's like going to a big box store and buying a mountain bike and then finding a tiny sticker on it that says, "not for off-road use". It's a shame when a simple part fails, causing catastrophic damage. There is no excuse for a 35+ thousand dollar machine to have substandard parts. When quality takes a backseat to profit margin, this is what you get. If Speed UTV can make a vehicle with race engineered quality, that's in the same price range, there's no reason these huge manufacturers can't do the same. Having said that, I know that when you are doing extreme, off-road riding, breakages are expected.

Kinda feels like it was your fault which is why you didn’t show footage of the crash but warranty won’t come through when you have footage of you doing something clearly wrong. The pro R has beefed up equipment but is also around 800lbs heavier which means the bigger equipment is needed just to keep its strength level equivalent to the pro xp’s strength. From peoples experience with the pro R it kinda feels like your money is better spent going with a pro xp with stage 3

@@69headwound Lost the footage or decided not to post it aside, this is clearly a Polaris failure and not driver error. You can see where he landed and there is absolutely no reason that should have caused a failure like this. There are tubed a arms on significantly cheaper units out there hitting the same spot with no issues. I wouldn’t have posted it either as there is no reason to give Polaris or their dealer ammo to deny your warranty claim. That jump is tiny and to see a $45,000 unit fail where sub $20,000 units are blowing through is a massive red flag.

@@dirtdudes That's too bad. I don't believe you did anything wrong. Ironic that you and SxSBlog had the same issue. I do believe that Polaris has an issue with the ball joints at a minimum. It would be nice to see the jump and landing for more data. I have a Pro R on order and hoping they figure out the problem before I get mine. I love your content. Keep up the good work.

@@arnw7933 good to hear. Have you replaced the front upper and lower ball joints? Any suspension modifications? Limiting straps? Thanks for the reply.
