For anyone wondering, the bike is a Yamaha XSR 900 tuned by Attack Performance.
6 жыл бұрын
Nick van der Vegt can we get a list of what was tuned on this bike, what are the extras compared to stock? Thank you
@quniok6 жыл бұрын
Would it be possible to film an interview with Mr Stamboli of Attack Performance so that he could walk us through what has been done to the bike and why? I could listen to this guy for hours!

this is one of my favourite videos on youtube. josh just looks badass with his leathers on the xsr900...and the sound of that bike is just gnarly!
6 жыл бұрын
holy whack, this is so dope! if I was Yamaha I'd buy this video and hire you guys to do more, I'm pretty sure this would boost the XSR sellings a lot
@postmortemarg6 жыл бұрын
haha do you really think Yamaha doesnt have guys like him to race their bikes or do commercials?
@DarwinAllen6 жыл бұрын
Have you SEEN most bike commercials? Spoiler: they're almost all terrible! This is way better.

Look at his leathers. He literally races for Yamaha.

I think it actually boosts sales as it is right now. I am just almost on my way to yamaha to buy an XSR900 after I watched this :)
@Meckiffe19764 жыл бұрын
Loved the way he was using the rev limiter as a gentle brake to "settle" the bike before the bend. That's some advanced riding technique. I have the same bike, but I won't be doing that. Brilliant!

Nice to see even a professional making micro adjustments mid corner. Shows how technical the turns most of us ride on

Dude an R3 rips on the Snake. I used to ride mine there every weekend. Would love to see what a pro could do with one instead of my slow ass haha. Better yet, he can use mine since I've changed all the ergos and suspension!

I sooo agree! I have one with 14k now ! bought new in 16. my shit is bone stock( except fro Pirelli Diablo Rosso II's and i still can hammer it through curves). gonna do suspension next season and some rear sets . Love the bike. And mind u I have 3 other excellent bikes ( 16 S1000r Bimmer, a 13 Street triple R and a 09 Vstrom 650 for trips and some dirt roading)

I'm truly impressed with Josh Herrin staying in the right lane the whole way with only one slight bobble onto the line. I really would love to know his general speed, since it seemed he was very concentrated on good smooth sport road riding rather than road race speed. I'm also guessing they had the road blocked off, considering not a car in sight anywhere. Either way, he may be riding beyond my skill level, but I also think he was riding within his skills to deal with traffic had there actually been any. It seemed he clearly had line of sight and margin to allow for issues. There was a lot more there to perceive than just a fast rider on a winding road.

Just remember, fellow FZ/MT/XSR owners: Dudeman has probably $4,000 in suspension upgrades on that thing :D Stock suspension is trash

@muhammadhazarul6 жыл бұрын
It all depends on your usage, if you're gonna use it in the city and ripping it in the twisties, i would suggest mt09 or triumph 765rs, perfect balance because of the triple has the torque of a twin and the sound of 4 inline

What is the height difference between you and Josh? Being the first video I have seen you appear to be 6' 2"ish, and how does that difference affect your geometry? I'm a hobby rider both dirt and street, and in the street I topped out at 137mph on a 1990 GS 700 Suzuki so I have a lot of admiration for you guys, and pushing the limits that you do.

@Skyerzen6 жыл бұрын
I know! I've been up and down that road several times. I usually do 5 laps every time I visit, and I've visited maybe a dozen times give or take? I'm NOWHERE at his speed, but I am lightyears better than what I used to be in the beginning. It took a lot of practice to memorize the turns enough to get any speed.
