Pro's and cons of the Garmin striker and Lucky fish Finder

Thanks. They are 2 different applications. I like both. The lucky has wider search angle good in the shallows

Good info. I have been trying to decide which to buy for my kayak.

With garmin you would need a big battery and case to put it in. Which won't last long. If your in shallow waters the lucky has a wider beem 90 deg. Garmin is 45 deg and 25 deg in clear view. Think about it.

Do you know what a thin green line by the fish icon mean? sometimes, when i use my lucky finder, when fish icon appears on the display, there is a thin green line above the fish.... cant find anywhere what this means...

Does happen all the time or just sometimes. Because it's a 2D view it could be there are 2 fish close together. Will look it up, never really took notice of that

@@stevesshowreel. it only happens sometimes. But its not like fish and another fish in the back, its a flat thin line above the fish.

I get this on garmin but it shows line with depth of fish. I will need to try it out but we got storms this weekend. Will be back.
