At 0:40 with the red case. I noticed a lot of fluid falling or spraying out. Is that normal?

That’s water coming out of the inter cooler, it’s pure ice when it takes off, and pure water by the end of the run!!! They inject water into the engine right before take off, keeps the engine from melting down👍 and yep it’s perfectly normal, at the end to see it splashing everywhere, they may have had a pump issue in the ice box causing it to come out that much, not real sure but looked like it maybe hope that helped answer your question👍

This prolly sounds like a Stupid question for Many of you Folks, but when they suddenly "stop" (like the 2nd Tractor) what actually happened? The engine died? Fuel Delivery issue?

Looked like a turbo issue, fuel looked good 👍 plenty of black smoke so don’t think fuel was the problem, that is also a V-8 diesel and all the others ( Deere, case, international etc…) run inline 6 cylinder engines, the V-8’s are little harder to get the turbo spooled up, that’s what they’re all doing at the beginning bringing up the rpm’s real slow, then once you hear that whistle it’s time to let er rip💪 lol The YoungBlood tractor had the same issue as well 👍 and there is NO STUPID QUESTIONS ask away I’ll be glad to answer any way I can glad to have ya as a pulling fan. Pro stock tractors are my favorite ❤️ the WORK HORSE PRO rob Russell is my favorite tractor it’s a case tractor with a John Deere engine💪💪people hate that 🤣I love it he won the points last year

ANOTHER "Newbie" Question... When they finish the Pull, why do they "let off the throttle" so suddenly? Seems to me, that letting the RPMs drop slower would be easier on the Engine. (Yeah, I know they are Diesel, not "gas.")

You will see some drivers let off a little at a time, but it’s more of a reaction to the flag man waving the stop flag usually is why they shut down so fast, they also shut down like that due to loss of power, loss of turbo boost, loss of fuel pressure etc….. It sure makes a cool sound when those turbos chirp at the end👍👍 hope I helped answer your question some what if you got any others this channel is the place to get the answers, beat pulling channel on KZbin
