one question you boys should be asking is are you using traction control that hr uses it so it is an advantage on these no prep events

Great comparison - excellent cars. I’d love to know what 1/8 mile times these cars are getting from the light to the flags. If only someone could afford a measly $220 Dragy. Although they are ridiculously expensive compared to say building an engine……it’s not like data is useful or anything

It's not really about what time they get over the 1/8th, it's about who gets over the line first. You could get a ballpark figure by looking at the time in the video that they leave the line to when they cross. At the end of the day it's a no prep drag/roll on a damp track, times will vary greatly between runs.

Any idea what power the fox was making on the day? Obviously nowhere close to 950 with how it’s moving. Ute definitely moves well! Good power management.

Hi mate, the Fox body and HR video was filmed a week before the diff blew up at QLD rollracing. I raced John in the HR that day on a roll and he beat me by a front guard. So Close

Would love to see the fox body spend some time with a tuner and get some advantages with the tech it’s got. Some rolling anti lag. Some two step and a bit of nos to get it up good combo :)>>. In saying that the HR is a very well set up car and a quality build real credit to the owner and builder !!!!!

I timed the HR’s 2nd run as 8.85sec. (Give or take 0.25secs for obvious inaccurate measurement) Which is brisk. For random comparisons sake a 2.0 litre Mk7 Golf R with a tune only is around low 8’s. No I’m not a Golf fan, and yes I think the HR is pretty cool. I’m just bringing some data to the emotional and visual drama
